How Daisy Went From Zero To Five Pull Ups and Hit a 150kg Deadlift

“When I first started personal training with Punch, my big goal was to be able to do a pull up”

Daisy, HR Manager for an international company headquartered in Bangkok, had been doing classes for a while and was strong when she first started training with Punch. With her coach’s guidance and support, she is now stronger than ever!

Daisy had been doing group classes for a while but had felt like her results had plateaued. She was maintaining her strength well, but was ready to raise her game and take her strength to the next level.

After enjoying Punch’s group classes and seeing how attentive and knowledgeable he was, Daisy started doing personal training with him with three sessions per week.

Straight away, Daisy could feel the difference. Daisy said, “Punch really gets into the details. Often a small change can make a big difference and I saw progress immediately”.

When Daisy started, her personal best (often referred to as a “PB”) for the deadlift was 110kg. Now she is lifting 150kg for multiple reps, an incredible achievement.

And we’re happy to report that Daisy is now doing five pull ups with perfect form, and is working towards building this up and adding weight. Daisy not only hit her goal, she positively smashed it!

So what’s next for Daisy? Whilst Punch insists she could enter a powerlifting competition, Daisy is happy just enjoying her training, getting as strong as she can and hitting personal performance goals.
