Monthly Payment Terms and Conditions

Monthly Payment Terms. Your initial payment will be one month and your membership will become active on the 1st day of the next month. For example, if you purchase the monthly membership on 14th January, it will become active on 1st February.

If you wish to start your membership immediately, you can pay pro-rata from the date you’d like to start, to the end of the current month. Please contact our team in branch or at [email protected] if you’d like to do this.

Services Included. This is an ongoing monthly subscription for group fitness training  for 12, 20 or 30 classes at all BASE locations. It does not include open-gym.

Monthly Payment Amounts. The member understands and agrees that he/she shall be required to make automatic monthly membership payments for the full term of the membership. This is an auto-renewal monthly subscription that will debit your assigned credit or debit card each month until the subscription is canceled.

The monthly subscription amount will continue to be charged until the member cancels the subscription in writing to [email protected]

6-month minimum term and early cancellation fee. If the member would like to cancel the membership before the first 6 full monthly payments, there is a 5,000thb cancellation fee. This can be paid at any BASE branch or online by card. A month that has included a membership freeze does not count towards the 6-month minimum term.

Package Freezes. Management has to be contacted directly for freezes or special requests in regards to cancellation or modification of their plan & services at [email protected]

Package freezes are available for 7, 14, 21, or 28 days are available and, in the case of a freeze, classes for that month will be deducted pro-rata. For example, if you freeze a 12 class per month package for 14 days, you will receive 6 classes for that month.

Cancelling the membership. If the member would like to cancel the membership after the first full 6 monthly payments, there is no cancellation fee. 14 days notice is required to cancel a BASE monthly membership. Any cancellations less than 14 days before payment will result in one full final payment coming out for 1 full month of training.

How do I cancel? You can cancel your membership by writing to [email protected]. Cancellation within 6 months will be subject to a 5,000 Thai Baht fee.

Monthly Membership Fee. The member agrees to have their bank account or credit card account automatically debited every month by BASE as a membership fee for access to its facility(ies) and services. The monthly rate is determined by the plan & services selected and agreed to when joining online or at the facility.

Monthly Payment Authorisation. By clicking the acceptance of these terms and conditions, you authorise BASE to directly charge the Monthly Membership Fee owed. This authorisation will remain in effect until you have canceled it in writing or email. You understand and agree that participation in this membership requires automatic monthly payments from your bank account or credit card at the rate agreed upon until canceled. You understand that cancellation within the first 6 months will result in a 5,000 Thai Baht fee. Any cancellations after 6 months require 14 days notice.

When out of contract, failure or refusal to pay will cause your membership to be cancelled. You also understand that your bank may charge a separate fee for returned/unsuccessful charges.

Monthly Statements. Member agrees that he/she will not receive a monthly statement, payments will be made via automatic withdrawal from your bank account and these withdrawals will appear on your bank statement. Written statements of your account balance can be provided only upon request.

Payment Date. The membership plans you can select are contractual agreements that members are obligated to fulfill. Your payment will be debited on the 1st of each calendar month.

Rules, Regulations and Schedules. Member agrees to abide by all the membership rules, regulations and schedules of the facility, which may be posted at the facility or issued verbally, and which may be amended from time to time, at BASE’s sole discretion.

Independent Contractors. From time to time we may make available to members and their guests the services of independent contractors. We do not warrant or guarantee the quality of these services and do not guarantee that these services will remain available to Members or their guests for any period of time, and hereby disclaim all liability arising out of such services.

Refunds. I understand that BASE does not offer refunds on any packages, unused classes or expired classes. In special circumstances such as moving abroad, packages can be transferred to another person, which is solely at the discretion of BASE Management.

Any classes remaining and unused at the package expiry date cannot be used and are void. 12 hours notice must be given when cancelling classes and any classes cancelled or rescheduled less than 12 hours before the class will be fully charged.

Member’s Obligations. The member shall not be relieved of his/her obligations to make payments agreed to, and no deduction from any payments shall be made because of Member’s failure to use the facilities. (Member dues are for the period of time and are no way related to or adjusted based on, actual usage of the Facility.)

Suspension of Access or Services. Members will not be permitted to use any BASE services or until all fees are current. BASE reserves the right to charge balances and overdue balances to their current account.

Valuables and Personal Property. Members are urged to avoid bringing valuables onto the premises. BASE shall not be liable for the loss of or theft of, or damage to, the personal property of member or guests, including items left in lockers (if available), with the front desk or elsewhere in the facility.

Unauthorized Trainers. Use of non-BASE trainers in the facility is prohibited. Members may not personally train other members.

Revocation of Membership. BASE reserves the right to revoke and cancel this membership at any time for any reason, in which case BASE will immediately terminate any monthly payments of the Member.

BASE reserves the right to retain expenses incurred or the portion of the total price of this Agreement representing the services used or completed, and provided further, that BASE may demand the reasonable cost of goods and services which the Member has consumed or wishes to retain after cancellation.

INFORMED CONSENT: I agree to voluntarily participate in exercise program(s) given by BASE/Concrete Jungle Co.,Ltd. (“BASE”). I understand and fully aware that the exercise program(s) offered by BASE are of a nature and kind that can/may push me to the limits of my physical abilities and which may cause physical injury. I am responsible for monitoring my own condition throughout and should any unusual symptoms occur, I will immediately cease my participation and inform BASE. I further agree that this consent form and the release and indemnity below shall apply to all exercise program(s) I attend at BASE and does not need to be signed each time.

I willingly assume full responsibility for any and all risks that I am exposing myself to as a result of my participation in BASE programs/classes and accept full responsibility for any injury or death that may result. I hereby certify that I know of no medical problems that would increase my risk of illness and injury and to the extent I deem advisable, will consult a physician before participating in any of the activities. With my full understanding of the above information, I agree to assume any and all risk associated with my participation in BASE exercise program(s).

RELEASE WAIVER: In full consideration of the above mentioned risks and the fact that I am willingly and voluntarily participating in the exercise program(s) provided by BASE, I hereby waive, release, and discharge BASE and its agents, directors, partners, officers, principals, employees, contractors, consultants and volunteers (“BASE”), of any and all liability, claims, demands, actions or rights of action, or damages of any kind related to or arising from my participation in BASE exercise program(s), including those allegedly attributed to the negligent acts or omissions of BASE.
