The BASE Games: HYROX Training Club Edition II

After selling out our first HYROX Training Club Edition in February, we’re bringing it back — BASE Games: HYROX Training Club Edition II on Saturday 11th July, 2026.

Same six stations. Same format. A brand new chance to test yourself, track your progress, and see how far you’ve come since The First Edition.

This is your benchmark event — built around the same station pattern so you can measure your scores against last time. Whether you competed in February or this is your first BASE Games, expect high-energy competition and the BASE community pushing you every step of the way.

All levels welcome. Every station can be scaled.

All stations use official CENTR and Concept2 equipment — the same kit you’ll find at a real HYROX race. If you’re training for a race, this is your best dress rehearsal.

Teams of two people compete across three categories — Men, Women, and Mixed — testing strength, endurance, teamwork, and tactics.

THE FORMAT

Every station is a ‘You Go I Go’ format — one person works, one person rests. Hit harder, go faster, just like HYROX Race Doubles.

Your team takes on six workout stations, each for 6 minutes with a 1 minute rest in between. New waves start every 55 minutes.

Scores run on a points system. Prizes for the winners.

The BASE Games: HYROX Training Club Edition II is proudly supported by lululemon, who are contributing prizes to the first, second, and third teams of each of our three categories.

The event is also sponsored by Paleo Robbie and Pocari Sweat. All brands will be providing their products complimentary to everyone on the day.

STATION A – SKIERG – MAXIMUM CALORIES

Hit the Concept2 SkiErg for maximum calories. You can switch whenever you wish and change the drag setting as often as you like. Total calories hit during the 6 minutes will go to your team’s score.

Rules:
– You can change the drag resistance level at any time. The person Skiing must change it.
– The handles must be placed at the top. If a competitor lets go of the handles, there is a 5 point penalty.
– Competitors must stop skiing at the end time. Any additional pulls will be a 5 point penalty.
– Only one person can touch the SkiErg at any one time. 5 point penalty if two people are touching the SkiErg.
– 1kcal = 1 point towards your total score

STATION B – BURPEE BROAD JUMPS – MAXIMUM LENGTHS

Hit your burpee broad jumps, going for maximum distance. You can switch at the start of each ‘lap’. Your distance is converted into points, which go towards your team’s total.

Rules:
– 1 lap = 2 x 5m ‘lengths’ of burpee broad jumps (10m total).
– You can change competitor at the start of each ‘lap’ only.
– When coming down to do a burpee, your hand must be no more than 30cm from your toes.
– Your feet must clear the end line completely on each length. Failure to do so means you must do one more burpee or incur a 5 point penalty.
– 1lap = 10 points towards your total score

STATION C – AIR RUNNER – MAXIMUM CALORIES

Hit the Assault Air Runner for maximum calories. You can switch whenever you wish. Total calories hit during the 6 minutes will go to your team’s score.

Rules:
– You can change runner at any time.
– Only one person can touch the treadmill at any one time. 5 point penalty if two people are touching the treadmill.
– Competitors must stop running at the end time. Any additional running will be a 5 point penalty per second.
– 1kcal = 1 point towards your total score

STATION D – WALKING LUNGES – MAXIMUM LENGTHS

Hit sandbag walking lunges, going for maximum distance. You can switch at the start of each ‘lap’. Your distance is converted into points, which go towards your team’s total.

Rules:

– Men will use 20kg sandbags, females will use 10kg sandbags. These weights are the same for the ‘Mixed’ category.

– 1lap = 10 points towards your total score

STATION E – CONCEPT 2 ROW – MAXIMUM CALORIES

Frequently Asked Questions

Do we need to select one person per station?

No – you can change at any time. So, for example, on the SkiErg you may choose to switch between your two team members whenever you wish.

Which station do we start on?

Stations are assigned on a first-come first-served basis on the day. So, for example, for our 10.30am slot, the six teams will start on different stations and then rotate round over 45 minutes. If you have a station you would like to start on, come early to book your starting spot!

Does each person have to do every station?

No – you can change team member on any station whenever you want. How you divide the time on each station is entirely up to your team, and will make up part of your strategy.

Can I change the dampener on the SkiErg or RowErg

Yes – but it must be changed by the person who is on the machine at the time. Other team members cannot interfere with the station or assist in any way. Doing so will result in a 5 point penalty.

Can other team members hold down their team mates feet whilst rowing

No – other team members cannot interfere physically with their team mates in any way. Doing so will result in a 5 point penalty.

Do I need HYROX experience to enter
Not at all. This event is open to all fitness levels and every station can be scaled.
