BASE Terms and Conditions

ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS OF USAGE

By accessing, browsing, and/or using the Site and/or any facility operated by “BASE”, you accept and agree to be bound to these Terms. In addition, when using particular BASE services, you also shall be subject to any posted guidelines, FAQs, or rules applicable to such services, which may be posted and modified from time to time.

REFUND POLICY & TRANSFERRING PACKAGES

We do not offer refunds on our packages and all purchases are final.

In the case of relocation or long-term injury, we can transfer your package to someone else at the discretion of management. In the case of a transfer, there is a fee of 25% of the value of the sessions to be transferred.

The package must be within the expiry period, the remaining sessions must be used by the expiry and the decision of management in these cases is final.

GROUP CLASS CANCELLATION POLICY

Please kindly note that our group class training cancellation policy is 12 hours.

This means that any classes cancelled less than 12 hours before the class start time will have the following penalty:

  • For Flexible Package holders, one class session will be deducted from your package
  • For Monthly Subscription Membership there is a fee of 200 Thai Baht for a missed class. This is added to your next month’s card debit charge
  • For pre-paid Memberships, (1, 3, 6 and 12 months) one day will be deducted from the duration of the package. If the member would rather pay a fee, 200 Thai Baht can be paid instead of a one day deduction.

Classes can be cancelled through the BASE app, by calling the branch or by sending an email to [email protected]. This must be done more than 12 hours before the class start time to avoid the late cancel charge.

GROUP CLASS LATENESS POLICY

The safety and enjoyment of everyone in the class is our absolute priority. Therefore, we cannot guarantee entry into the class if you arrive at BASE after the class has started.

We cannot, under any circumstances, let a member join the class after the warm up has started – this is for the safety of all members.

Please arrive at BASE at least 15 minutes before the session to get yourself set up.

At the class start time your spot will be given to anyone on the waiting list in the case of a full class.

Thank you for understanding the importance of our late policy.

PERSONAL TRAINING CANCELLATION POLICY

Please kindly note that our personal training cancellation policy is 24 hours.

This means that any personal training sessions that are cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged as one full session.

We understand that life often throws unexpected events up, so the coach will always make an effort to reschedule the personal training session on the same day if possible. If it cannot be rescheduled for the same day then the session will be charged.

Late cancelled sessions result in the coach missing the chance to train another client, so thank you for understanding our policy.

Sessions cancelled more than 24 hours before the session start time by calling front desk or messaging/ calling your coach will not be charged.

Thanks again for respecting our policy on late cancellation.

PACKAGE ACTIVATION POLICY

For full details of our monthly membership packages, go here.

All other packages will be activated on the day of the first session attended. This must be within 1 month of purchase. If no sessions have been attended after 1 month from purchase, the package will automatically be activated.

PACKAGE FREEZE POLICY

We offer freezes on our packages for a minimum of 7 days for: Injury, sickness or leave from Bangkok only.

We must be told of the freeze before it happens by email to [email protected] or written notice.

Please kindly note that we cannot freeze packages retrospectively afterwards under any circumstances.

Below are the permitted freezes allowed on your account.

Once the dates of a freeze have been agreed, the freeze cannot be extended. In the case that you wish to extend the time the package is frozen, it will need to be done as an additional freeze of 7 days of more and will be counted as another freeze on your package.

The freezes permitted on our other packages are as follows.

1 week or 1 month Cannot be frozen

3 months or 10 session package 1 freeze of 7 days minimum, 60 days maximum are permitted

6 months or 25 session package 2 freezes of 7 days minimum, 60 days maximum are permitted

12 months, monthly payment membership, 50 and 100 session packages 3 freezes of 7 days minimum, 60 days maximum are permitted

In the case of injury or sickness, please provide a medical certificate and we will freeze your account without it counting towards your permitted freezes. Please provide the medical certificate within 7 days of your sickness.

Freezes for sickness without a medical certificate will count towards one of your permitted freezes.

MONTHLY PAYMENT TERMS

SPLIT PAYMENTS

For our larger packages, BASE may offer split monthly payments.

In the case of split payment packages, a set number of sessions will be available to use each month before the full package price has been paid in full. In the case that all of the allocated sessions have been used, you will need to make the next payment to continue training.

The monthly payment is due on the same day each month, from the date of the first payment. So, for example, if the first payment is on the 15th January, the second payment will be due on the 15th February.

In the case that a payment is not paid by the due date, the package will be frozen until payment is made.

In the case that any payment is overdue more than one month without contact, the package will be considered cancelled.

Please note that no refunds will be given for any split payment packages.

PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEO POLICY

We allow and welcome our clients to take handheld photography and video footage at BASE but please be mindful of the privacy of other clients.

Please note that we do not allow the set up of free-standing recording equipment (for example, on tripods or a camera/phone in the studio unattended) such as video to film and record sessions.

BASE, from time to time, may video or photograph sessions and use these images and video on BASE social media or online. We will always verbally check with the class. Please let the coach know if you’d rather not feature in these videos or photos.

VALUABLES & PERSONAL PROPERTY

Members are urged to void bringing valuables onto the premises. BASE shall not be liable for the loss of, theft of or damage to the personal property of members or guests, including items left in lockers, with the front desk or anywhere else at BASE.

MYZONE BELTS

We are partnered with MyZone and offer complimentary belts with some training packages. We offer a maximum of 1 complimentary belt every 12 months to each BASE member on the purchase of a promotional package.

PRIVACY POLICY FOR BASE

At BASE Website, accessible from www.basebangkok.com, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by BASE Website and how we use it.

This Privacy Policy applies only to our online activities and is valid for visitors to our website with regards to the information that they shared and/or collect in BASE Website. This policy is not applicable to any information collected offline or via channels other than this website. Our Privacy Policy was created with the help of the Free Privacy Policy Generator.

LOG FILES

BASE Website follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and a part of hosting services’ analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users’ movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.

COOKIES AND WEB BEACONS

Like any other website, BASE Website uses ‘cookies’. These cookies are used to store information including visitors’ preferences, and the pages on the website that the visitor accessed or visited. The information is used to optimize the users’ experience by customizing our web page content based on visitors’ browser type and/or other information.
